I love it! but just like everyone else has said, it really needs mags!

It's a classic holden, it needs old school mags to go with it! A nice big set of Centrelines is defiantely the go.

Or I don't mind the 5 spoke Rebel mags on a Kinga either!

New updates:

New cam and lifters installed.

While I was changing the cam the timing cover did not seal properly and the coolant made its way into the sump:eek: Not good, drained oil, resealed timing cover, filled with diesel engine oil, ran for a while, dropped it then put in penrite with new filter. All good. Though I keep breaking hose clamps on my radiator hoses. Dodgy c**p.

Technicially speaking a 253 would be best with a 350 or 390:

Cubes x max rpm x VE% = max flow
3456

So,
253 x 6500 x say 80% VE = Would give you a max flow of 380.67 cfm
3456

However we all know real life is a bit different.
How much better was the 465?

Finally installed my Autometer water temp and oil press gauges to keep a better eye on things.
I love autometer, its like the senders were just made to go onto a holden V8.
