Sorry to go slightly off topic with this, but how good is the K&N Filters both oil and air compared to standard ones? What makes them so much better other then how they are designed ?

tune it and you wont look back. with all the mods youve done so far, you wont be getting the most of them without the tune.

My VT has new cam lifters new crank new pistons valves and springs throttle body pod CAI and a few other bits n pieces and heaps of tweaks my dyno was only for a hour got me to almost 180rwkw and is great on fuel and everything for only 100 bux but i done all the mods myself except the inner engine

I have the Dr Bob tune sitting here infront of me.
Took it out when i sold the VT 12 months ago.

Worked well and i recomend him if people want what i'd call a mail order tune

do a dyno run and get a decent dyno tune done mate, shes sure to sort a few things out, run smoother, better fuel economy, better performance too champ

But seeing you said it improves other factors not only performance, I'm interested to.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, But would getting a special tune and dyno run be allowed if your on your p's?

I thought maybe because your modifying something but then again how would they know?

lol i don't think your're interrupting this thread, it was over in 2005.

There wouldn't be any problems getting a tune to the car when you're on you p's, you're basically "fixing" the car. So go for it.
