Immobiliser not working

So my immobiliser light doesnt come on when keys out if the ignition, i can try reseting the computer and the light still wont come on
If i turn my key with the light off it doesnt crank
Had the battery disconnected over night and immobiliser light still doesnt come one
Any ideas?

Make sure you have a good contact between the key reader ring around the ignition lock and the key.
Also, the screws often come loose on the key head, make sure they are snug. See if the protrusion on the key that contacts the ring is not loose. The PCB on the key head is a problem area. With all the movement you will often see loose connections on soldered through-the-hole joints.
Does the car open OK with the remote.

those problems result in the red immobilizer not turning off
but you are correct
op has opposite problem

None of the buttons on the remove work and havent for a long time and but while unlocking the door i cant hear the central locking mechanism move,

sounds like bcm is having a vacation
try unplugging battery for half an hour
could be fuses 14 and 31 from memory

Bcm is having a holiday, that has honestly made my day mate
Ive decided to stop throwing money into this thing and get something more reliable. Cheers guys
