I just changed the ignition barrel and switch in my Calais as the barrel siezed up, I’ve used the key blade that fits the new barrel and used the key reader and key fob that was from the original barrel that’s coded to the bcm
I started the car after disabling the immobiliser after replacing the barrel and switch, turned it off, took the key out and started it again 2 more times, I then got out locked the doors, got back in tried cranking it and the immobiliser cut it off again
the immobiliser is still stuck on and I cbf waiting 45 minutes every time I wanna start my car, has anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening
