isn't it the wattage rating the difference between h11 & H9. H11 55watt ,H9 65 watt

MY12.5 Maloo R8, MY12 Redline ute, Magnum 224
The H11 and H9 have the same specs and sizing according to their documents.

It’s a Phillips bulb and tech. The fan is in the bulb too. Fairly new to the market. Designed to be a direct replacement.

I posted because it may well be another option to try.
VE's up to MY12 were low's, H7, highs, H9 and fogs, H11.
MY12 fogs changed to H10.

i think the difference between the 2 is a notch position in the plug that the aftermarket vendors leave out making them interchangeable.
i think in halogen land, one of them has a tinted/solid end cap on the bulb to reduce direct light output
im sure one is designed for low beam and the other for high beam
