Installing 6 1/2" Speakers in VK Front Doors

I've come across a problem,
i ripped the door trip off the front doors of my VK to notice theres no hole for the speakers to sit in.
i'm making up MDF spacers to give it around 40-50mm off the door, but the magnet will hit the door,

should i just cut a circle out of the lower front part of the door to accommidate the magnet?

i could space it all the way out, but it would look bloody rediculous and obviously would be in the way
