Installing ve series one boot lip spoiler

Hey all

I'm about to install a boot lip spoiler on my S1 ve.

The spoiler comes with double sided tape and clips to install it.

My concern is would I need to apply some adhesive like silicon or something to properly secure the spoiler down ? Or I should be ok with the double sides tape/ clips ?

Also would I need to apply some adhesive on the clips as I don't want water getting into the hole which you drill into the boot to clip the clips in ?

Any feedback would be great full

I don't think I used clips or tape, just screwed it down, the inside the boot you will see holes to drill through. I Haven't had any leaks.
