IQ blank screen

Hey , I started my VE up this morning and the IQ screen was blank. The air con and fan worked ok and the IQ screen even showed the day date and time when I pushed the button to turn it off, but when I turned it on again it was blank . Started the car later in the day and all was good . Is this a common fault ? Also if I take it to Holden will it throw up a code or will they actually have to see it happen ? Thanks ,Dayvo

I think there was an update that fixes this issue, I had it happen to mine once and had an update done which was actually for another issue and I never seen a blank screen again either

Software update can resolve the issue, if not, the the radio module will require replacement - identical circumstances to wha happened with the mrs '11 v6 Calais

Mine went blank/white about 3mths after I got it.
They replaced the whole IQ unit.

Had mine doing the same and the update fixed it.

I also ended up having mine replaced in the end but was more with the built in sat nav that kept crapping itself than anything else

2012 z series commodore series II the battery went flat my IQ system came on but would turn off while driving. Did this 3 or 4 times then stayed off has not come on for a mouth. Had auto electrician look at it was fuse gone but still not coming on. Do i need to replace and if so do I just take out and put in, can anyone help

Do your heater/aircon controls work? If not, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it would appear your IQ unit is friar tucked

i wonder if there is any way to upgrade the touch screen to a higher res one?
