Our news media is corrupted, is unwatchable. Full of fearmongering (Leftist) and full of pharmaceutical adds. You need to know on what to look for; they are very convincing. They expect (most do) the viwer/reader to believe it as gospel. A good example is our current presidential campaign, is a circus to high heavens. The media is so left wing they trash Trump any way they can; pretty much got the whole world convinved that he is a lunatic. However, bad publicity is better than no publicity; Trump knows how show business works and flips it the other way for "free".

Sad to say but our population only want 3 things, food in their bellies, entertainment and money in their pocket.

the problem with banning guns in the US, there are so many unregistered and illegal ones the ban would have no effect.
its a culture of guns and violence and its the culture that needs to change.

can laws change culture? sometimes.

We do not have a shooting problem as its percived... just the media hype and right wingers love that crap. "Never let a "good" tragedy go to waste". Sometime ago a lawyer called Ralph Nader was trumping highway safety. He made so much noise with a book called "Unsafe at any Speed". Was about the Chevrolet Corvair; used every bit of negative publicity to get the car discontinue.

Take the guns away from people and the "bad guys" seems to have a way to get a hold of one pretty easy.

What problem? There are over 200 million registered firearms in the USA and over 1 trillion rounds of legally owned ammunition. If there was a problem, it'd be staggeringly obvious.

Unfortunately, too many people have been sucked into the media hype and hysteria regarding guns in the USA.
