15,000,000 EVs drawing down from the grid.

Hmmmmm

Yep
The Sunshine state would rather spend billions on stadiums for the Olympics rather than invest that money in infrastructure to help ease the real issues

with the amount of money victoria has spent on NOT doing projects we could prob have a couple small nuclear power stations going with cheap electricity for the next 70 years mixed in to offset the renewables and then do more projects because it will be cheaper to power it all

I'd guesstimate that a very low % of people actually park at work.

If they can park near work, it will again be street parking (have a look around any commercial or industrial area on a work day) or in multi level car parks in a CBD.

Then there are the packed train station carparks.
Yes, exactly. Thats why I said that all parking spots in the CBD would need to be electrified, on top of employers premises.

My work is out in the suburbs and has sufficient parking for the people who work there on a regular basis. Sales reps are another matter entirely, they don’t have on premises parking and some do vast distances each day so fuk nose what to do about that one if we all have to move to EVs.

I can't be bothered chiming in. There's no such thing as a "small nuclear power station". The one they're building in the UK will generate 1 gigawatt of electricity & costs $78 billion to build (so far). The brainfart that Peter Dutton has sold you is a research project

No such thing as "small nuclear power stations" or cheap electricity. Like the recent announcement about power getting cheaper.......never happen, they privatised power so people can make money from it. They will never lower power prices because poor people are doing it hard. They charge so much for power because they can and nobody will stop them.
