For the rear subframe, this springs to mind:

As for the spacers, will probably depend on how much you want to space it out. As far as I can remember the steering shaft is attached to the rack input by a splined coupler that can slip up and down the shaft when loosened (hard to explain, makes sense when you see it), so there should be some extra wiggle room there.

If you need to insert the steering shaft more because of a change in position that will work. However, if you need more length in the steering shaft that's where it will become a problem as you only have 10mm at best to play with or the steering wheel ends up binding up on the column shrouds.
Edit, are we talking ute? Sedan and wagons are slightly different as they have adjustable column and you might be able to get some more length from inside the cab.

Sedan. Wondering on length and that will decide the spacer width..

Having some more thought on this and .I'm guessing you want to drop the K frame? IIRC the centre joint boot is fixed, so that really only leaves a small amount of length you can drop the rack as there is a raised notch that is on the rack shaft and the steering shaft can only drop as much as that notch allows, (basically minimum insertion) which will be 10mm at most. I'd suggest undoing the centre boot and the bottom clamp and seeing that way how much you have to play with by pulling on the steering wheel once loosened. Leave the bottom clamp bolt in though or you will pull it right off.

What engine or reason for k frame spacers?

IIrc Ultimate Metalworks did 20mm spacer while most other brands like LoweFab,CRS etc were 40mm which meant custom intermediate shaft.

Think I might just scrap the spacer idea.
Was just thinking of doing it for more spacing between engine and bonnet.
Just an L67, intercooled.

Another question. E85... Whats involved?

No need for spacers with L67.
