hi new to just commodore
not sure of protocol for gaining assistance
so i'll just wade in
i have 2005 vz commodore ute with kme diego 3 gas injected system fitted
originally had problem with lpg defaulting back to petrol
took to local mechanic, who in turn took it to local lpg installer repairer
both shyed away from repairing it,as both were unfamiliar with system and did not have software to suit
after several weeks and attempts at diagnosing it myself, turned out to be defectice gas solenoid
in the interim i purchased serial cable and several versions of software to enable communication with lpg ecu
none of them seem to connect to ecu but give warning of incompatible version and then default out

can anyone assist as to where to source the correct version of software
have trawelled the internet and now have many versions of kme software but all seem to have superseded my ecu (model 30a)

apologies in advance if i've approached all this wrong

hi its chris from Perth W.A. ive fitted lots of kme systems to commodores in last 5 years. KME constantly upgrade their software but you should be able to download current or older from the KME webpage in poland. sometimes i just chuck the old ecu and plug in a new one with the latest software. call me if you cant get it sorted 0404569920

cheers chis
appreciate the reply
i have been to kme web site in poland many times, as well as many others
seems a lot of the software is backward compatible as far as 30 c ecu
but does not go back as far as my ecu (30 a )
as mentioned i have possibly 6-7 versions of software all with no success
what would be approx cost of newer ecu and where would i source one
car is purring on gas at the moment so would have to justify cost

just out interest
i have prob with o2 sensor feedback to car computer when on gas
apparently, from what i have read, o2 sensors read lean when on gas and endeavors to correct fuel mixture
eventually causing error log to activate. probally causing car to run too rich on petrol, but fine on gas

i believe problem is sorted on later kme versions

regards

o2 sensor is not linked to circuitry of kme gas system, other than just to show if it is working or not
Ecu model 30a is way too old now, cant get software anymore. 30h is current, and the latest software is briliiant
elkogas vic is oz agent

another idea would be to remove the ecu and wiring and upgrade to another system thats more common and in use
