G'day all, first time poster here cannot find the answer I'm looking for....
I'm thinking my boost actuator could be shot, the car runs fine but doesn't seem to be using boost. I install a guage to have a look what is making. Neg 18 at idle. Give it a bit of a boot in 3rd gear and the guage reads neg 5. Should it be kicking in around then?
I pulled the hose off the top of the actuator, pulled the arm back with.my finger over the hole and it seems to hold decent but it does drop a tiny bit very slowly. Bit of study Via google shows that that may be the cause?
Has anyone bought the cheaper actuator compared to the mace brand?
Big price difference..

Thanks everyone
