Why spend $7-10k and end up with a second-hand L98 that's probably done 100,000km? That's a lot of money for an extra 300cc capacity!

If you threw that same $10k at your current LS1 you'd have a brand new engine that would **** all over a standard L98 (and most likely a standard LS3 as well).

Okay do any of you know if this is possible. Not for street use but i have the idea of putting my l98 into a sv6, now i have no plan at all of changing diffs or tail shaft, really i want to change as little as i can. so my question is will the l98 bolt to the v6 box, im not worried about braking or twisting it is just doing burnouts. Useful info would be very grateful

Good thread dig.... Answer is No, you will need to get a bell housing and/or adaptor made.
So with customizations could be done.. being in the long run better off with a box that belongs to the motor?
