last problem with my car cant seem to fix it

a new belt should be tighter, they get loose as they age and wear... if the new belt is as tight as u say it is...then u must be reading the tensioner wrong. it should straighten itself up once the engine starts running. maybe its just got a slight warp in it from being bent while sitting in storage. once the engine heat gets to it, it should correct itself.

just went to holden's had my car checked over i will have a go at fixing what i was quoted on and work from there

he said it was weird that the car felt fine, until he put it drive or reverse,he had a good feel of engine while running and body e.t.c. very nice person to deal with.

said that he feels the whole exhaust system needs to be undone and hung perfectly straight and retightened.

and when you look through from drivers side at pulleys e.t.c looks perfect,but when you look through pulleys from passengers have a wobble so it's the water pump pulley.

so will see how i go fixing it up

all good replaced water pump didn't fix it,just replaced drive belt tensioner all good and lined up

Im trying not to swear,but oh my my ,i got a program and the correct cord hooked it up to see the dtc's thinking to myself,should only be a few.

here's the error codes on my car 13,14,15,16,17,18,19,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,31,32,34,35,36,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,71,72,73,75,76,77,78,79,81,82,83,84,86,87,89,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98.

man that's a lot of problems been working on it for 2 years. now i understand why it's taken me so long.

so i cleared them all now what do i do ? i'm thinking go for a test drive and see what comes up ?

dunno never done anything like this before have the laptop,cord and program's now

I dare say what came up was either an error or just a history of logged faults. I dont think it would be possible to have 50 odd codes and not have the cel illuminated. Strange how they were all in very close succession to each other aswell

I think it would be impossible to have all those codes. You have every code there is apart from one or two. I suspect the scan tool or program is not compatible.

ah this is finally doing my HEAD in arg 10hrs later and still cant work it out . the cable works fine i think i have a software problem going on any suggestions on good working programs that are basic to understand.

i feel like i'm learning a different language.
