Sticky: how did you fix the fast flashing blinker problem?? you use a relay or resistors?

I put the evaporated silver globes in the indicators so they are not LED's.

Did you order the flasher unit from that site as well?
AUN 12 Volt Auto Relay 87x2 German 1 $4.95
AUC 12 Volt Auto Relay C/O German 1 $4.95
??

I ordered one from the states and it doesn't work.

these are standard relays, you need a FLASHER UNIT your flasher unit can be modified or contact above supplier as i could not see it on web, I beleive a resistor or something of the like is changed.

you should not need relays, the correct flasher unit will do the job, they will flash at the correct rate of 60-90/min

I know their standard relays!!! how can you modify a relay? it's a sealed unit.

I know all this, the problem is that I can't find any in Australia, there is some Hella ones but they're suppose to be for trucks which has metres of wire between indicators which also act as a load, well that is what the tosser at Hella said.

your original flasher unit can be pulled apart to be modified. not sure who can do this for you in VIC, get contact info from lazer and email them on how and what you need, mine has been done and working fine, sorry not sure exactly how it is done.

I rang the guy at lazer, yeah he can modify the relay, because he's in a different state I have to purchase a relay, $15 sounds ok, though his led bulbs are expensive, $40 for a pair is pretty steep.

Ahh guys. Be careful. The electrics in GM vehicles have always used bulbs as a fusable link.

Check you wiring diagrams before swapping out for LED's.

Also the 3.8 litre Buick motor is a '65 motor.
