The second link is more specific to V8's.

Personally, I have no intention of changing to LPG. Some people swear by it, but nobody has been able to provide enough proof (for me) that I won't lose power and my engine won't wear prematurely. As well as that, I reckon that if you can't afford fuel costs on a V8, you shouldn't buy one IMO. I'm an enthusiast so petrol prices don't worry me too much...

Yeah good point. Strange how all the 2003 articles show up in google more than the later announcements. Either way LPG will go up. Intersting to see in the RAA article that a $1000 rebate was on the cards long before the current offer. Looks like it was brought forward just a bit.
