LS1 covers compared to turtle shell---add your LS1 cover pics

was wondering if theres any difference in performance wise as the turtle shell holds a lot of heat and the LS1 covers being seperated would this allow for more heat to travel out cooling the engine a little bit. anyone got any pics of their covers cheers notice anything performance wise

Updated pics, As with an answer to the OP. People say they can people say they cant. The turtle shell does hold in alot of engine heat, which in turn would effect performance, but you wouldnt notice it on the street. Rip it off and get some split covers. Plus IMO it looks 100 times better.

Which ones? the carbon fibre ones or the fibreglass ones? The fibreglass ones you can get off ebay, the carbon fibre ones are as rare as rocking horse ****. I've been looking for ages but I cant find any

u sure ther carbon fibre??? cause my m8 sells them at work.....they painted like that....theyy look exactly the same as real carbon fibre bonnets/etc..

That particular one is in the photos, some guy did them as a limited run to find out if there was any interest.

As for you mate, can you ask him for me? how much $$$'s
