Ls1 Manifold

That is correct so far the ls6 manifold looks to be the best, even the new weiand street warrior will start to choke up above 6000 rpm but is very good through most of the rev range, just depends what your trying to achieve, we modified my stock ls6 and gained an extra 9rwkws.

yeh i was thinking bout the weiand street warrior as a future mod but now after this i might stick with the ls6 manifold its got from factory, does that mean they've got ls6 heads too? been told the ls6 heads flow better and av a greater performance advantage over the ls1 heads.

heads on a VX will be 241 cast heads.

LS6 manifold is worth around 10HP when retuned.

for starters the ls6 is flat, were as the ls1 is curved....mayb it cud result n better ariflow? making more power?? idk its just a guess

^^^ Where is is flat?? But yeah... air would travel better through a smooth curve rather than a squared off area... i guess...

The real answer lies inside the manifold, the vx LS6 type has a bigger internal volume. try looking inside the two side by side!
