im sorry about the boost question but that power figure seems pretty low i know walkinshaw can get around 480 kw(ATW) with the same sort of upgrades

Hold on hold on.

That 480kw figure is at the flywheel, and probably a guesstimation from Walkinshaw (Unless they put it on an engine dyno, which they may have)

Some guys are running 10psi with the 1900s. Power seems a tad low since you've got ported heads as well, but it might have a conservative tune. Are you sure you're getting the full 8.5psi?

Yep but i think thats at the limit of a stock bottom end. Not sure of the longevity of running that much boost. Oh well, if it breaks, just get it stroked!

Running 12 PSI intercooled on 5.7L. Power figures look about right for that boost level for a mild cam. what cam specs u got?
Remember these roots blowers aren't dyno killers, they're not designed for all out power but for useable power from idle to 6,000 rpm.

I bought the car as is and all the work was done by
Walkinshaw. With the standard pulley it was said to have 546rwhp
It was coughing and spluttering so got a retune by someone else. Got better fuel
economy and more power though on the dyno was only 469rwhp at 6psi.
Boost upgrade to 8.5psi and capa fuel system took it to 524rwhp.
The car drives like a stock 6L from the factory, very smooth

PD blower is not for dyno queens. V8 + PD blower would make for some serious torque I bet. Do you get traction in any gear ? LoL

Yeah it pulls like a freight train. Especially in
4Th and 5th.
Don't know the cam specs but John Lloyd
from street quick performance said its not a big cam at all.
