hey man thats a nice SS u got. just wondering are u sure that your rear springs are SL? cause i just put the exact same in my vy ss and the rear sits above the tyre with mine.. :S

Thanks mate.. I saw in your thread youve only just got your springs, give them time to settle in, they will drop a bit over time.

Its actually on the tyre not the rim. But it is illegal in some states.. Luckily not in SA..

Its illegal because the sidewall has to be rubbed off to make a smooth surface for the paint, the combination of taking rubber off the tyre and the police not being able to see the load rating on the tyre i think is what makes it illegal. Professionally done for $80.

Tell the cop to go under the car and look on the other side of the tyre then he can see the load ratings, etc....
