Plasti-dipped one wheel today, it's good for getting the idea of the look of different coloured wheels before painting, but personally I didn't like the finished look or the feel of it up close. I won't be doing the rest of the wheels, but I now know I don't mind the look of white wheels.

It gives a rough finish, kind of like a fine grit sandpaper.

Used & seen it a few times. Did you layer it on too thin?

And try some glossifier on it.

That might be part of my problem. Might even give it another shot on the spare wheel. Ill have a look at some glossifier, but i don't want to invest too much into it when ill be getting them painted soon anyway.
