lol at soop.

i guess on the other hand, if you did want to do 'performance things' that arnt in your face is a 2 hole mod to the airbox or hsv airbox, catback, extractors, manifold spacers and a tune. i guess the only thing they would be able to see would be extractors, but heat sheilds can hide them. for more poke, get some dif gears as well

An they cant hear an exhaust?

have a rear muffler on, or just stick with a hsv exhaust, they are meant to be fairly quiet. just get a tune, probably one of the mods that are worth the money for power for the alloytec anyways, even though power out of an sv6 is quite expensive, and as the v8 boys will say, not worth it

Exhaust
tune ?

theres a few

Have a search around on this site , there's a few threads already coving all this

None of these are legal for Vic P platers.

you can make performance upgrades but make ones that aren't in your face so the cops can't see them ,
they arent gonna strip the engine or move anything around to see what's done

So because they are not obvious that makes it legal?? The stupidity on this forum is never ending :bang:

Tune = immediate EPA problems + also not legal for P plates.

No, they really dont. But you paid money for them so the little man in your head is telling you they do.

Gotta love it when newbs pay $100 for a freaking air filter...

if im not wrong, your are only allowed one performance mod to the car, as long as its done corectly.
lets say you put a pod filter for instance, then it has to be fixed to somthing where it cant move around for it to be legal.

Well guess what - your wrong!

Lets see how your insurance company sees things when you slide into the car in front driving a car your license does not permit. I'm not sure that "it idles quietly" will help on that one.
