He could always get rid of the FOUR motors and just have one drill....works a charm :thumbsup:

heavy motors? theres maybe a couple of kilos extra by having power windows. a fair trade off in never having to wind down by hand again. and much better when you want to talk to someone in a car on your left

Aaactually, I hate to break it to you kids, but power windows are lighter.

The motors are plastic, and the runners are small.

With manual windows, you have a large steel gear, large steel runners, and large steel slide levers.

Power windows save you close to 500g :)

I do, however, have a manual aerial :) Power aerials are so heavy. I threw it out ages ago :p

why even have windows in the first place, get rid of the windows and winders and just have weather schields to stop the rain getting in.
