i recently put some ss mufflers on my ve sv6. the ones that have a Y tip. i've noticed a more satisfying note when i put my foot down but it's still very quiet and a little too high pitch for my liking. just wondering if you guys have any ideas for a nice deep grunty note without needing to spend heaps of money for a full exhaust system? i've heard gts mufflers sound okay but drone a lot. maybe i should just get a simple catback only exhaust?

Either a good car back or the non afm mufflers are slightly louder. Instead if a y there 2 individual pipes

Pre-warning you, you're going to get people telling you "You'll never get a good sound from a six" and "It'll never sound like an 8"

But you can't go wrong with Manta.

This is how Berklee rears sound on a stock SS catback with a crosspipe placed where the crimps were, with a set of extractors and a cam. Idling a bit high at the moment (850rpm).
