VX II Acclaim Wagon.
Agree those wheels are an improvement. Doing the windows will match them.

Yes they are real simmons. There are 2 types of simmons, the 3 piece and 1 piece simmons. These are the 1 piece simmons. The 1 piece simmons go for around $2000 where as the 3 peice simmons go for around $4-5000.

How much did changing the rear springs from ssl to sl raise your car?
Currently got ssl in the rear and picked up a set of SL's..
Got 19" rims on it and can't have any passengers in the back cause tyres rub. Car is at about 75mm clearance.

When I had ssl's in the car I couldnt put a coke can under the side skirt at the rear. When raising to SL I can now fit a coke can under the muffler of the car.

This was my car with ssl in the rear.

Now this is my car with sl in the rear.

I have to agree, I also had SL front, SSL rear when I bought my car, sitting on 19s. I changed to SL rear, as SSL was too low and scraped everywhere, tyres scrubbed if any weight in the back. With SL it's perfect, SSL does look a bit better but it still sits really nice on SLs.

The Calais looks good Vegemite, i like those wheels.

I agree that ssl looks a lot better but it was just impractical
