Didn't work day 1 but I rebooted the iphone yesterday and voila. I had a message icon on the screen. Received an SMS and it worked fine.

lol I knew that would wind a few people up. getting my iP5 to pair in my VE is painful, Holden states on their website and customer service lines that's their cars only support to iP4 (not even 4s), so I'm glad yours is working for you, nothing worse than something that is supposed to work, that doesn't

It can be a funny feature.

After my sisters team got knocked out of the AFl grand final qualifier, i got a text full of colourful words about the other team. My poor car swore its guts out, and did it so happily and eloquently! I've never heard swear words spoken so cheerfully before.

Getting the car to play an album on your MP3 player by voice is funny too. I've got a small album called "New sh1t". My car so cheerfully said to me "Now playing new sh1t!" Hahaha.
