Ok ... My first post..

I currently own a VB commodore.. I love it but i Really dislike the color..

Now i am very interested in changing it but dont know the first thing about respraying it.. Could anyone give me a tip on lowering the cost of a respray by doing some of the work my self or how much the whole job will cost Curently she is Jasmine Yellow and i really would like a glossy blue color..

Also I hate the seats thus i was wondering if i could fit some vl seats in the place.. will they just slip in or am i going to have to mod something...Are the dimensions the same??

And i am having some trouble removing the back seat does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out The problem is i have a gas tank in the back andi cant get in to unhook it... like i can get the bottem bit out it's just the back rest of the back seat..

Cheers.

there should be a couple of bolts at the base of the back rest from memory.
once you remove them it's just a matter of pushing up from the base of the back rest and it should pop out.

Spraying a car has always been something I have wanted to do but with little funds it has made it hard.

A mate of mine who sprayed his car passed the following links on to which you might find useful:

I know of six (6) VB colours but I might be wrong about them.
Anyway the colours that I think are on the VB are;

Opaline Blue (Baby Blue)
Atlantis Blue (Light Medium Blue)
Aquamarine (Turquoise)
Lagoona Blue (Light Royal Blue)
Royal Blue (duh!)
Deep Blue (Navy Blue)

Hope this helps,

Kind Regards,
Jaime S.
