Can't say I have ever had 2 pages for a roadie.. Bent rack and main seal would be the major prob and fixes.. You going to do the main seal your self?

Lol well actually... That's how much executives were when they came out. calais' on the other hand were about $38, 176 new... So ive saved a **** load more :)
And The guy at the mechanics knows us so he just gave us some tips on how to do it ourselves haha. But its not too expensive. The tie roads and all that are suprisingly not costly at all.

I like having something that I can fix. My old car was a peice of crap when I got it and I fixed it up. Then the engine died anyway... lol so i put a new one in and sold it for heaps more and i see it around town and im so proud i did that <3 lol Is that strange??

It's not for roadie... Just stuff that can be fixed eventually. Theres no bent rack, think you read the rack boot thingy needs replacing. And its one of them vario steering racks so when you slow down the steering gets super easy. I can spin it with my pinky and when sitting still its like turning normally. Awesome xD haha And about the main seal... Not sure. I think so. I imagine the mechanics would charge ALOT to do it..

whoops sorry was prob reading and getting hassled by the 3 kids for something.. I have been quoted 1000 to do the main seal, take the motor out, drop the sump, loosen it up and new seal and new sump gasket, clean motor and put back in and new coolant.. The mechanic said it will take him all day to do it. Mine has a sump gasket leak or a main seal.. Gotta degrease it and have a look.

Thats awesome! You have the receipt. My car didn't come with anything except an old rego paper from a old guy called graham... I love getting old cars with all the history. Good reading.
