navman rules - nothing quite like the experience of driving to brisbane and having the unit start a terminal reboot loop...

The good guys had a great deal on a tomtom over xmas and boxing day the tomtom one V3 for $149 works great for my needs

Officeworks refused to price match them last month because it is not a current sale price - despite the unit is discontinued, and they have $251 on the v3 and yet the v4 tomtom one is $249 go figure.

non, i still use the old wises maps, either the book or the online version. generally i can look up where i'm going before the trip and not have to refer to it again and still not get lost. i also have a navi-guesser in the passanger seat who still can't read a street map


if i was ever to get sick of the navi-guesser in the passanger seat i'd probably would get a TomTom unit of somesort. i would imagine that the TomTom would give clear instructions for a turn before you arrive at the street rather then as you pass the street like my current navi-guesser:whistling
