need help with numbers

hi guys and girls

just need help to clarify numbers to see if my vk calais 333 is what it is.

numbers are -

VK8VX19-333
BODY No- 124305-A
TRIM - 3035-73Y
PAINT - 2F 013-D

these are on the id plate, but the small tag on the front panel infront of the radiator is -
8VX19TD LI124305 K.

I NEED HELP TO EASE MY MIND ON WHETHER TO DO THE CAR RIGHT UP FROM GROUND OR JUST DO MINOR REPAIRS AND PAINT AND GET IT REGO'D.
SO ANYONE KNOW OF THESE NUMBERS AND CAN HELP IT'LL BE APPRECIATED HEAPS

8VX19- Calais sedan
T- 5 litre
D- year 1984
L1- Adelaide plant
124305- is I.d number which should match your body/option plate which it does from wot u posted.
K- represents VK from the V series commodores.

Don't have much on the 333 pack. All I have is, L31- 5.0.
M40- trimatic
G70- 2.60:1
being 5L a LSD diff

Other members will have more on the 333 pack.

Paint 2F013D- Cedar
Trim- 3035 is shade 73Y Copper

All that 333 denotes is, Calais, 5 litre V8 and 3 speed auto. Its rarer sister 334 denotes Calais, 5 litre V8 and 4 speed manual.

the diff ratio of 2.60:1 is a single spinner, not a lsd from what i have read from other site denoting the vk calais 333 pack, so depending on if this vk i own is the real deal, i'll do a full ground up rebuild, even though there is the 334 pack, both 333 and 334 are rare cars to own. many thanks for your help.

Mrronny, check out GM HOLDEN COLOUR CODES at Unique Cars And Parts - The Ultimate Classic Car Resource there is all holden colours listed in the colour chart.

according to the holden colour chart 2J011 is a metallic MERCURY
the D in the colour number isn't there.

Nope, only in VB and VC 5 litre factory cars. Option on VH and VKs 5 litre

The D on the end of the paint code is paint brand, ie;Dulux.
