Thats cheap enough, then add another 6-7 hundred for 18" tyres.

The bigger the tyre the more expensive it is (even though theres about the same amount of rubber). I ride on 16's, and from memory a full set cost $500 or something close to that. I would imagine 18's would easily get up to $600. Im told a bigger rim on a VR/VS makes for a rougher ride, although other jc members may dispute this.

Nankang NSII 235/40/18 - RRP $190ea but easy to get them down to average $160ea if not better

You won't find tyres cheaper than that (well you will but it's not worth it - these are actually half decent :p)

Personally I'd save for a bit longer and get it lowered :)

Tint - $265 (Tint Professor Darkest Legal)
Clear Side Indicators - $40 (Holden)
Berlina/Calais Tailights - $100?? (Wreckers)

About $400 worth I'd be doin, then save for rims and lowering at the same time :w00t:

ive spent under $400 and this is what ive got:
chrome tail lights ($200)
clear side indicators ($40)
remove side strips (do it urself for nothing)
debadge (d.i.y.)
change reverse globes ($5) they are now blue when cars in reverse.
3 inch chrome exhaust tip ($28)

Thats everything ive done so far to the exterior and it costs u well under $400. You'd probably even have enough money left to tint your windows. Not bad?

the pics are in the dark so they may be hard to see
