Sounds fair enough. If you only lock the old threads then you will still have all the old threads taking up space on your server.
It's not often that I will look at threads in the For Sale sections that are older than one to two months. But, that's just me. Other people could be different.

Looks good. It makes it easier to see what's what IMO. And I think the deleting old threads idea is a good one too.

I agree, if whoever made the thread doesnt update it after a month, then theyve forgotten about it, so delete them
