New Car Warranty Questions?

Hi all,
I have my car booked in to get a warranty item fixed, the timing cover is leaking oil. I noticed this after I fitted my lowered springs and was cleaning the car.

My only concern is because I just recently fitted lowered springs, does this affect my new car warranty or will it just void anything related to the suspension? This is the only mod done besides a stereo and 18" wheels.

Has anyone else had anything repaired under new car warranty with lowered suspension or am I over concerned?

You may be in trouble for anything suspension related but I couldn't see how it would affect a leak from the timing case. I wouldn't even mention the suspension.

FYI

No problem at all, I am getting a new timing case gasket replaced under warranty.
They also found a small coolant leak which is getting fixed also.

From what Holden have said to me. Wheels void no warranty. Lowering the suspension voids ALL suspension and steering components. Exhaust voids only the exhaust warranty, doesn’t void the engines. Its only when you open the engine up to change any engine components from standard then it voids the engine warranty. Or modify anything driven off the engine. i.e superchager
