The Falcons of the same era had the same remote keys, so if you can find a holden one, you might be able to find a ford casing, then just cannibalise the rubber buttons, or swaps the guts

hi,

look no need to go searching for the exterior case.
i have got a vp berlina and the casing on mine broke where the key ring joins.
so i rang holden dealer spare parts and he said yeah no worries casing for it will cost $17. it's easy just undo the two screws and pull the chip out and place in new case do up screws and your done.

easy

Could you not just mess around with your key, your remote and a key/remote in one?

Surely with some ****ing around you could get the key and remote guts into 1 case?

I will definitely try this once I get my VN-VP.
