i have a picture in my head with darker tint, spoiler back on, mud flaps off and vz ss tail lights on, i keep pictureing in my head it will look good, what do you guys rekon?

just another update,

took the car to the shop to find out if i could really fit the 6.5' mids in the front doors behind the door trim and they couldnt unless they did a big fibreglass job so the installer told me i can get them fitted in the rear parcel shelf so i left the car there for a couple of days and while it was there i got them to carpet the sub box aswell, there was a problem with fitting the parcel shelf interior back on with the mounts he made up and he modded them as much as he could and still wouldnt work out, and then luckily there was another car there that was getting 8" adapters from Holden taking out for 6x9s so i was very lucky to get them and they dont have them @ Holden any more, here are some pictures,

so any suggestions for front splits? preferably 6"

One thing to say,

WHAT A ####ING WASTE...

You dont put good quality splits in the rear when you have an 18" woofer because that will drown them out. You would of been better selling them to someone that would use them as a good quality front stage...

YOU CONFUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME!

Why do people push to make bass so big in their cars then complain about rattles and how to fix them.

Commodores are rattle houses even without sound systems lol. And just do you think I'm not biassed so was my maws BMW 328i coupe.

Do it! Check my ride for ideas on this look.... Still have my.mudflaps on though, protects the sides of the car and breaks the white up a bit

Mate those splits are going to get ruined, the pressure create by your sub will literally rattle those speakers to ****, they will genuinely die. Take them out, sell them, get some Morel Maximo 6's or Tempo 6's ($240 ish and $330ish)

yeah idk yet, might get something locally, like kicker RS or KS 6"

yeah yours is hard to tell because its plain old white, but still looks good, the brake light is more permanent now, its connected to the factory brake light wiring now

increased in 2.3dB by building a new box hmmm (still havnt tried with the port facing forward through the middle seat), friend still rekons it seems low for what i got, maybe its because its in a boot of a large sedan? anyway, everyhing is untuned atm, im thinking is it worth going to the shop and getting everything tuned and balanced using the oscilloscope?? i think he said it cost $165ish, anyway wants to go to the shop and have a look at the speakers they got there, still interested in Kicker KS or RS my amp puts out 80rms @4ohm and idk which ones i should get are the KS going to be loud enough? or would i need something more powerful?

anyway at the sound comp yesterday, it was funny that most the 140dB cars had 6x9s or 6" speakers on there rear parcel shelf, just about everyone had them with subs in the boot, after reading all that nonsense ^ im just gonna ignore it (for what i paid for them online who cares they were cheap), all i was looking for was louder speakers in the rear because that is where the loudest point in the vechle is and you cant hear sht, put them in mainly for the tweeters tbh and i think they sound better having the mid right next to it than not having it in at all

fk i need to stop spending money haha
