Lights, siren, data terminal, radio(s), radar detector - detector, laser speed gun, safety equipment, etc. What more would you expect ??

Must be Benboy's week for dipshit responses.

None of the junk listed above is factory supplied - it is all installed by contractors at the Force's Fleet Management section at Enfield in Sydney.

The vehicles supplied by Holden for police use generally have heavy duty components to withstand the sort of (mis)treatment the police hand out to them. Brake pads, batteries/alternators are obvious. Minor modifications to the standard wiring for connection points for specialised equipment and other bits and pieces that don't come to mind easily. No engine mods, no magic performance gains. The vehicles are leased these days, not bought and the resale value is a critical factor in the Force's budget, so the vehicles are not all that much different to the ones you can buy yourself at the dealer.
