OBD2 scanner and rest tool that does ABS and Airbag. To suit VY Commodore V6 Ecotech

Hi all,

New to the page. I am after some advice and suggestions on an OBD2 scanning tool to suit my VY Commodore Series 2 V6 Ecotech vehicle. Or do they still run an OBD1 port? I have been told I need one that reads in ALDL which I presume is a protocol or language. I am pretty new to using scan tools. Any suggestions on a scan tool that won't break your bank? Tech 2 is a great system but super pricey. Cheers!

Yes laptop, stand-alone then your looking at super pricey..
