Opinions on Altezzas / Smoking Tail Lights

i have a white ute and want clear lights and keep them as close to white as possible

whatever you choose to buy, if it isn't factory and/or doesn't wear an ADR stamp, it's a defect. Don't let anyone else convince you otherwise.

As for tinting tail lights, be sure you check the regulations in your state, most have fairly strict criteria when it comes to visibilty distance of lights when they are on.

Honestly, i did like the idea of smoking clear tail lights, but i fitted my clear ones yesterday and i think they look much better just how they are. They look very good.

smoking you lights is to spray them with this stuff that tint's them a light black colour, depending how dark you go. hense "smoking"
