I’ve used that stuff on both abs and vinyl and never had an issue. Apparently it’s just acrylic with a Flexi add/adhesion promoter

abs plastic is the kind that melts when you put solvents to it. it may have had old paint on it already that reacted. or you may have just put the paint on too wet and softened the plastic under the paint. then when all the solvents crept out it split open. sand it all back to bare plastic and start again try to spray it on not so heavy, let it sweat out a little between coats, let the solvents out properly. abs plastic can be a pain in the ass. also if it is abs you dont need primer for it to stick, the solvent borne paint will just melt into it.
