My car has standard shocks with low King's. Low enuff to look good but high enuff not to cause problems when I got lots of junk in the back. Still scrapes on some bumps though.

Hey,
Im new to this but was just wondering if i lower my VT will it ruin the ride?? i was thinking of putting King Springs Super Lows and Monroe Sensatrac shockers and a camber kit....is it a good idea or will it ruin my ride coz i know it looks good but i dont want to get sea sick....

how do you get sea sick in a car?

anyway my car is not lowered yet so i can't tell you much someone else can give you more info than i can.

but when you say ruin your ride what do you mean do you mean it will wreck your car or do you mean it will just travel rougher?
cause if you get everything setup right it will be fine but yes i do believe that it will make it travel rougher though

Hey,
Thanks for that i meant did it make it rougher by saying sea sick like every bump u hit it goes up and down in the cabin whereas when it isnt lowered u dont feel it....coz i will be driving interstate with it...do u think it is a good idea or not?

if taking long trips i'd be sticken with something not so low you want it smooth especially if traveling for a long distance that's what i reckon anyway why not go in between and get something that's a bit lower than standard but still rides smooth and looks good still. I'd just go to pedders or some place that does suspension and just ask them but for the best comfort your gonna get your better off not to lower it.

have you got mags yet?
cause mags will roughen your ride abit to depending on what size wheels you have

Yeah, dude...for interstate driving u want something smooth as a babies arse!
We drove my mates VS statesman from Melbourne to Albury which is a 4 hour drive....

He only has low kings springs, which is FE2 pretty much and by the end of that my back was so sore...

Also as bradvt98 said, the profile of ur tyre will also influence how smooth the ride is...
