VX SS SERIES II
Hey guys I'm in a bit of a dilemma, I've lost my keys to my VXII SS. I'm not 100% sure where I left my spare key I seem to think I saw it in the glovebox a while ago.(I know dumb place to leave it) I've searched the house for 3 days to no avail. Will the coat hanger trick work to pop the lock? The car is deadlocked. Any help will be muchly appreciated.

Thanks guys
Zane

Glass breakage then slide yourself in

Once deadlocks enabled, cannot open doors

Better be sure the spares in glove box

Hanger won't work when dead locked. If it was me I'd smash a window to get in. Prob not best idea but will work.

smash the windscreen
they are cheap and a lot easier to have replaced than door glass

I smashed the rear 1/4 window when i had this problem as i found it to be the cheapest option Holden Commodore VT VX VY VZ Right Hand Rear RHR Sedan 1 4 Glass Quarter | eBay . my rear seat was also down in the middle section so i just stuck a coat hanger in and pulled the emergency boot release to pop boot.

Would you not be able to take your VIN and proof of ownership to Holden and get a new key cut or a remote? It's got to be cheaper and easier than a new window. Plus you will have a spare key
