pleaseeeeee .. how to fix intake OTR ??

How much of what did you cut off?

i was cut the small portion to i can lay the new intake

the location of intake is ok and it is go to the throttle all right but the problem is the car not work after fixing the new intake ..

have you got the airflow sensor plugged in, the sensor in the right direction, and if you had to extend the wires, join the wires correctly?

every thing is ok ..

i was extend the maf wires as ok ..

and put the maf in right direction ..

and close the hole that related to oil vaporation

but no benift

these are some pictures of my fixing the intake

the maf is putted in its place as right direction .. and extend its wires

the oil vaporation hole was closed and filter was fixed connected to oil hose

and this is the oil vapor filter i was use it

unless im wrong but you havnt go tthe maf installed. the first pic is the IAT sender(intake air temp). You should have a sensor between the OTR flange and the throttle body flange. this sensor is the MAF. it looks like a tube with a plug on it for a lead.

this is the maf ( mass air flow sensor ) i was take the inside plug and put it inside the intake as directions

and if i want to install the whole maf ( that with tube like in the previous pic ) noooo space is there

if the car wont run after these mods it sounds like the maf maybe damaged.

there is no way i would rip the maf aprt, even if a manual said so. they are very sensitive and easy to damage.

try and find a original maf from somewhere, put your standard air box back in and then see if it runs. if it does then you know the maf is the problem

no the maf is ok .. not damaged .. the evidance is when i return to the stock intake the car is run perfectly

i dont know what is the cause .so. i search about any pic that talk about any directions to fix otr on vz v6

the car should run with the otr as long as the maf is installed. there is no real difference between runnig a otr or airbox. im not to sure with the vz but is there a IAT as well. make sure that is connected.

apart from that im out of ideas

Even if the MAF isn't plugged in or not working the car should still start and run, it'll just give you an error beep and run rich? I believe.
If it's not starting at all with the OTR then there has to be something else you've missed, something disconnected or blocked intake somewhere.
