power steering replace or repair?

are power steering "o" rings a pair job you can do at home or is it easier to buy changeover unit?

any good repairers in Melbourne area?

If you are talking about the pump then it's a fairly easy job. You can buy a seal kit fairly cheaply. Just pay attention to how everything goes in when pulling it apart, particularly the vanes, they have to go back exactly the same way. Use and elastic band to hold the vanes in place. However, I did find the big snap ring difficult to remove.

Or... just buy a new one for $175.00 and replace the whole unit, it reall just depends how mechanically minded you are.
