Powersteering pump high preasure hose

I bought a new powersteering pump for vz commadore but the high preasure hose will not go into the thread it won't fit cause of the little lip on the end of the hose any ideas how to work around.it

Or can you swap the thread from the old pump over to the new one ?

Sounds like it’s the wrong pump
