Is it the anti-hoon police HWP??? Hell no!!! Its the Brad HWP!!! :p

Ok, finally I have upgraded the excel. I now have something worth writing up on the forums about!! I chose the name BradHWP as a nice orignal term to describe a modern-ish falcodore :)

I must admit, the 5 speed, albeit whiney (common), makes the commodore a great car to drive. May not be as good as the 6 speed, but I am satisfied with my choice of cars. It has all the power I want. Not like I'm racing or anything!

Features:

3.8L Ecotec
5 speed Manual (HELL YEAH!)
Leather interior
All the Power Options I want :)

Done Work:
* 13-10-07 Run cable to install Amplifier and Sub in the boot
* 20-10-07 Tap into sound output to provide sub amp with an input (this was an ordeal on its own!!)
* 20-10-07 Installed Amplifier/Subwoofer. 150WRMS Bridged :)
* 07-12-07 Drafted basic GUI installation. Should be all good to go after Christmas.

Planned Mods:
* Better Exhaust
* The usual light engine mods (ie, extractors, etc)
Not looking at forced induction, as I am lucky enough to be able to insure a V6 as it is! (I'm under 25, and male. Therefore I'm prejudiced as a hoon!)

Planned Interior Electronics
* Interior GUI (The car pc project). This one will take a while to plan. I'm currently running centrafuse on my laptop trialling it. I'll be going with that.
* In car CCTV Recording
* Optima Yellow top Battery.
* MAYBE auxilary overhead monitor.

Presenting my ride:

EDIT: The Subs I have put in (shamelessly ripped from my OCAU thread)

EDIT: Yes, I know, it may look like I haven't run it under the carpet. I need to take more pics of it!

Also:

I forgot to post this image. It is a photoshop simulation of how the dash will look with the CarPC GUI (Graphic User Interface) installed:

Thanks, unfortunately, another plan has just come up... I'm still pretty keen on getting these buttons fixed up. :p

Not any more updates at the moment. Still need to get those damn volume buttons done soon though. The stickytape is still holding them :p!

As for the CarPC. I'm looking at beginning works at the end of this month. Christmas can be such a bitch to the wallet!!! :p

I've already performed a few software trials on a laptop at the moment. Just looking at things like ease of use, reliability and features/expandability.

I've also looked into the possibility of In-Car-Video. Basically constant motion based recording which can be retrieved in the event of an accident, roadrage, crooked cop, etc. Its possible, and pretty cheap to implement (I install cameras and the like for a job).
