I think you got that backwards there champion. the VL has a Nissan RB30 motor. not the other way around.

i was thinking that as well about the rb....... lets all be the fulliest sickest c**t's in town and get a nissan 200sx and put a ca18det and tonnes of NOS and body kits and try to run 12 sec 1/4's, more like 24sec 1/8ths..

I think this thread is going to limp on for years to come. 2 pages over about 4 years, an engine and body bought and sold, and now in the hunt for (and hopefully has purchased) an engine and body again.
I hope that you one day achieve your dream and we can all see your satisfaction in the result.

i can help you land a r31 GTs from japan if you like. check out Japanese used cars. Used Japan car exporters. Used Japanese car dealers. [ tradecarview ] if we can find someone to put the engine in in jap-land i know a guy who will pass it here. we just say its a factory engine. done it a few times with AE86's

That completely defies the point of what he's trying to do. He's trying to do something different, and I hope he can pull it off. 99% of skylines are already all nissan. Theres nothing different about that.
Besides, I'm tired of seeing commodores and other Holdens being molested with jap motors, its about time someone did it the other way around.
