What year suburbans did they come on?
I thought no trucks had an LS1??

I reckon they are still a SBC having just looked up holden suburban (a bit before my time). - seem to have a vortech 5700 which is a SBC

None of those list the suburban in question though, they are the next gen than the ones in Aus - and none of them are LS1s

There is no 5.7 truck engine as far as I can tell. Therefore it must be a SBC

5.7 were ls1 (346) cubic inch, but everyone referred to them as 350


I didn't.

The only 350 SBC Chevy (349.85 cu) in my language was from the first generation of Small Block Chevy engines.

From the second generation afterwards they were produced under different names.

Holden only sold double-digits Suburbs with Holden badges, with the info we have it's almost definitely a grey import ... and I had (and still have) no idea of what badging they could have stuck on them (eg. in the comment I just made in the other thread about the Benz E350 ... which is 2.0L rather than 5.7L :)).
