Hey fellas,
son wants to replace his SSSL springs on the rear of his VT V6 sedan. He's just bought new LOW shocks for his car (Ebay- yellow ones LOL) He isnt sure about swapping his springs for something a bit higher (like FE2 springs). Will the shocks still be ok with a slightly higher spring? Like FE2?

Thanks
Mark

Usually for standard or fe2 (low) height you use standard shockers.

For SL springs or lower, you use shortened shocks.

Putting fe2 springs in with short shock absorbers would be quite harsh, and possibly difficult to install.

that my not be right. on older models fe2 and country pack springs have a shorter fully extended height then standard springs. both use the same shock which is shorter then standard.

I think I will do a little research. I have stupid low springs to swap to so want to know.
