If u say u found paper work to say it is a ex police car then chances are the bcm has been programmed to have this feature removed or the wiring has been modified can't remember which one it was know any one with tech 2 they would be able to help you the v6 commodore didn't come with the bt1 option they were a 9c1 from vt up

Because they are meant to turn off when the door opens. LOL

Yes, I know that but I was responding to the original post about the warning sound.

They dont turn off when the door has been opened. Ive checked thr owners manual too. Tried to reset the time delay but they stay on.. I just wont use the c*#ts of things lol
